There is a wide selection of books available ~ the slideshow above illustrates some books and other features. To identify any one type of binding we have given each of the styles names. These are chosen at random from a list of deceased explorers and inventors. All the books are available as gifts or in ready-to use form or in a ready-to make kit of all the required parts. There is no relationship between the label given to any book style and the discoverer whose name has been chosen. This may seem odd ~ but we felt it better than XK120 ~ or Model T. I could have chosen flowers, or rivers, or country capitals ~ but I did not. A wealth of further information is available for each of the book styles ~ many of which have been designed to be functional and easy to make on the table at home ~ or on a desk at schoool. Some involve no gluing ~ many do not require sharp knives. Kits are available in which the tricky the bits involving sharp tools are done by me beforehand.
