Easy to make books
Here is an example of a book
which can be made in a few
evenings of simple ~ enjoyable
~ light ~ work.

up marbling as a hobby some
years ago ~ and now makes a
useful small income from it.

Bookcraft people might enjoy tips in related craft topics ~ such as ~
All true crafts folk look after their tools and kit. Bookcraft does not require much in
the way of stuff that needs tidying away. Bookbinding does need some bulky kit.
The busybusydotco site provides numerous tips which may be useful ~ and we will
be happy to share any of your ideas. We are especially keen on handmade
things and recycled material. For example the paper ~ below left ~ is handmade
from unused tee-shirt cuttings at a small, friendly, workshop in India [120729]. We
are currently using a very fine paper from Nepal ~ which has an interesting
backstory [126979].
The sharps’ tin (below) will last a lifetime ~ and it is a vital bit of often neglected
health and safety. Anyone who has dropped a spool of thread and watched it
unwind on the floor ~ or left it get dusty on the shelf or dirty on the worktop ~ will
appreciate the string dispenser. In the picture below one is covered with a
decorative Italian designed musical paper.

Some bookcrafters buy their

kept clean and tidy in a
recycled Pringles box.
